Testimonials
My weekend at Angela’s yoga retreat at The Retreat House was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, there was a beautiful sense of calm, connection, and intention. Angela’s yoga classes were the heart of the experience — her guidance is grounding, inspiring, and full of warmth. She creates a space where everyone feels seen, supported, and empowered, no matter their experience level. Each practice left me feeling more connected to my body and breath, and more present in the moment. The beds were cozy and inviting, the vegan food was absolutely delicious, and our amazing hosts, Deb and Jenn, went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of. The property itself was peaceful and full of charm, with everything you could possibly need for a perfect weekend getaway. And the group of women who attended made the whole experience even more meaningful — such a beautiful, supportive community.I left feeling refreshed, grounded, and deeply grateful. Angela is truly gifted — I highly recommend this retreat. 5 stars all the way!-Tanya WillmottTestimonials
Collingwood Yoga Weekend Retreat, held at The Retreat House Holistic B&B, was an incredible opportunity to disconnect from routine and rejuvenate among nature. Angela expertly guides each morning and evening yoga experience in a way that connects our body and mind with the natural happenings around us. Angela encouraged us to be present and conscious about how our surroundings can influence us. During the unexpected power outage she invited us to embrace the stillness of being off-grid. Turning to the wind blowing through the trees I reflected on how something so invisible could make such an impact. Through yoga we connected with our most authentic self, reaching deep and awakening the parts that we may be suppressing. Like the wind, there is power in the things we cannot see and she encouraged us to bring them to the forefront. Highlights of the weekend included group nature walks, spa treatments such as professional full body massages and hydrating facials. Down time was used to connect with others by engaging in open conversations, sharing aroma therapies, and participating in mind, spirit and soul reflection activities. Vegan meals were prepared over wood burning fire and enjoyed in a family dining setting. Left the retreat feeling humbled to have been surrounded by a group of women all equally invested in the importance of physical and spiritual well being.-Amelia WenderothTestimonials
This was my very first yoga retreat, and I was honestly a bit nervous about doing it on my own. But from the moment I arrived, I never once felt out of place or unwelcome. Somehow, this incredible group of strangers felt like people I had known forever—we shared so many laughs and unforgettable moments together.Angela’s wellness retreat was everything I hoped for and more. The atmosphere was warm and peaceful, the location was beautiful, and even though we got hit by a snowstorm, everything still ran smoothly and stayed fun. The food was absolutely amazing—nourishing and delicious.I loved every single aspect of this retreat and left feeling so refreshed and inspired. I’ll definitely be doing this again!-Cristina
